Terracotta Nativity of Six Pieces with a Three Spire Palace Backdrop and Carved Surface Details

Six Piece Terracotta Nativity Set With a Palace Backdrop and Hanging Star

A mantel scene works best when it has a focal point. This set uses a carved palace arch and a star for that. Place the six pieces together and let the whole scene fill the space.

The set contains six terracotta pieces that form one nativity scene. A cow and a sheep join the Holy Family under the arch. A star hangs from the arch inside a palace that has three spires.

The terracotta carries carved details and a natural whitewash finish. The design draws from South Asian architecture for its palace shape. In total the set measures about 5.1 inches long, 3.1 inches wide and 8.3 inches high.

This is a display piece meant for shelves and not a toy. Greenery and small lights look good beside the pale whitewash finish. Plus, it makes a thoughtful gift for nativity collectors and for hosts.
